Explanation:
This is a new technology introduced by Microsoft, which is
the successor to OLE and allows to include special controls in a web page, which are not part of
standard HTML. These objects
will be downloaded automatically when such a page is visited. ActiveX also includes
VBScript, a new
scripting language for the web.
